Split time between Maui HI and Fort Worth TX, taking a bit of a sabbatical this year from work to spend time with family. So hoping to get some traveling in before I start back up at work. I love being active and outdoors, I enjoy volleyball, ultimate frisbee, hiking, and anything involving the ocean or marine life. I'm super easy going and love meeting new folks. Currently trying to go skiing a lot this winter and see some cool new places.

I love to travel, meet new people and share experiences. I have had good experiences with couchsurfing before and I think the community aspect of it is really cool. You get a more local and authentic feel with couchsurfing than traditional travel.

Some of my favorite books are The Count of Monte Cristo, the Harry Potter Series, GoT series, Little Women, Mere Christianity, Enders Game and Call of the Wild. Some movies I love are Shawshank Redemption, About Time, She's The Man, Stand by Me, Pride and Prejudice. I like nearly all types of music and really enjoy live music.

I bungee jumped from the highest bungee in Central America, honestly ended up being a little sketchy so I don't think I'd do that again.

I love learning about local cultures and am willing to try any food someone will make for me. Being from Texas I can make really good biscuits and gravy for breakfast - just like grandma taught me! But I really enjoy just having good conversation over a cup of coffee or a drink. I love having open conversations with people who have different perspectives than my own.
