ABOUT ME

I grew up in Clear Lake, Iowa, a charming little town of 7,000. I graduated from high school in 2005 then went to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where I studied biology and french. I spent a summer in Quebec City, Quebec where I fell even more in love with the french language and decided I wanted to teach. I moved to Besancon, France in 2009 where I am now a teaching assistant in Lycee Victor Hugo. I take the many vacations we get as teachers to travel with my friends as much as I can! I love learning, laughing, running, eating, drinking wine, dancing, and appreciating life.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to learn and love...I do this by traveling, meeting new people, trying new things, and keeping an open mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year as an assistant in France has given me so many opportunities to learn and travel! If I could include the year of 2009-2010 as my whole amazing thing, that's what I would say!
