Ciau!! Hi everybody!
I'm Caterina, a 23 years old person enthusiastic about life looking for new places to discover and friends to meet around the world.
Since what brings the most joy and happiness to my life is spending time in nature (even better if literally with my hands in it :)) , this year I'm volunteering for ecological projects around Europe, hoping to learn everything that I can about permaculture and a sustainable way to agriculture.
Give me a seed to plant or a tree to watch and i'll be just happy! But to be honest i'll be just happy doing many many things: spending meaningful time with beautiful people, reading a good book (of course, possibly under a tree), looking at a sunset, swimming in the ocean or getting lost exploring a new place.
In general I love a slow and simple life, where there is the space and time to get to know a place with respect, to connect with people with sincerity and compassion and to listen to oneself with kindness.
Travelling with this minset, the idea to welcome and host each other, driven by the curiosity for other's life stories and cultures seems like a dream. I really feel that every new person that I meet expands my world and my perspective on life, so I always keep my heart and mind open to every encounter and treasure the differences and peculiarities of each individual.

About me: I am an active person and enjoy walking everywhere. I love hiking and swimming in the sea or ocean, taking part in any outdoor adventure and practicing yoga.
I love animals (I have six (a lot!) cats) and respect all kinds of life.
I try to be the least harmful that I can for the world and one of my goals is to one day have an autosufficient and completely sustainable life. For now I cultivate a syntropic garden (my big big joy!) that provides a lot of amazing vegetables and flowers. I also love good plant based food.

I enjoy meeting people and travelling. I think is an amazing way to have an insite on the local life wherever you go and possibly to find new friends all over the world :)
I am also extremely fascinated by languages and would like to learn many many new ones!
