ABOUT ME

I'm an italian girl who left her numerous birth family catching all the opportunities happened. So, I lived in Portugal during 4 years and there I was in contact with the fantastic world of behavioural ecology research! I I studied birds' song and coloration and I love it! I've been in South Africa to study some other birds in the savannah, one of the best experience in my life.
Now I've just started a PhD between Germany and Australia to study more birds! I go where the birds send me...and, you know..."life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will spend 6 months between Hamburg and Sydney for the next 3 years, meanwhile I hope to visit more places! That means that I'll not have a proper home for the next years and couchsurfing seems the best way to have a lot of homes, visiting places and knowing people!

Interests

I love birdwatching, hiking, play volleyball, read romances, recycling stuff, knitting with crochet (I'm pretty addicted about crochet) and listen life stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like brazilian reggae and rock, universal classic rock, some italian music and a little of electronic!
I love wired films, the ones with some fantasy or absurd in the story like Almodovar's, the firsts with Woody Allen and "Tideland". I also like some italian films, of course!
I read different kind of books, it has to be a romance! I loved Murakami's titles like "1Q84" and "Norwegian Wood", but also families stories like "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Garcia Marques and "Fall on Your Knees" by Ann-Marie Macdonals and much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived 6 months in the savannah...I saw a lot of wild animals, sunrises and sunset unbelievable, sand storms, a wonderful moonrise and even a complete double rainbow!!

I can teach to make stuff in crochet...
I'd like to learn to recognize birds from their song and cooking different dishes from the italian ones!
