ABOUT ME

I am currently a junior at Carnegie Mellon University, studying fine art, which is both exciting and scary because I have no guarantee for my future! But otherwise, I am a Korean-American girl raised in Orange County, California (but I promise you, I am NOTHING like the girls on The Hills), going to school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but currently residing in Copenhagen, Denmark for the next couple of months. In Copenhagen, I'm taking a much-needed break from the stressful and (maybe) pretentious art world, and instead studying architecture, which is equally intense and stressful, albeit in an entirely different way.

But enough about my studies-- this is my first time in Europe, and I'm excited to see everything! Including all the hidden nooks and crannies that aren't included in European guidebooks. Feel free to pop me a message with pieces of advice, "must-see" places in Europe, or just to say hi!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a new member, so I haven't exactly done anything yet, but I'm hoping to meet some new people while I'm traveling in Europe! I wanted a real experience while I'm here, which is why I'm less keen on staying in hotels, other than the fact that it is expensive. I'm excited to meet people and experience the real culture of wherever I visit, rather than just the tourist sites.

- Film: as you can already tell
- Fashion: I know, it's a bit materialistic to love clothes so much, but I'm a girl, what can I say? To my defense, I only buy my clothes cheap!
- Dance: HUGE HUGE dance fan. I used to dance for 5 years (wasn't very good though), but I love to watch dance performances. One of my guilty pleasures is the show, So You Think You Can Dance. Don't judge me!
