About Me

I'm a therapist living in Western North Carolina ( Asheville). I enjoy being outside, making arts, foods and fun and hanging out with pup Bruce.

I was born and raised in a small town in the south United States but have enjoyed exploring other regions and countries in my adulthood. I have visited Iceland, Ireland and Scotland, Peru, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria and lived in Guatemala for a 1.5 yrs. I've also thru-hiked that Appalachian Trail in 2014 (a long distance trail in North America- 2200 miles)

Music, Movies, and Books

My most favorite book is Braiding Sweetgrass. I love most that tell a good story or push you to think about life or yourself differently. I also like educational documentaries, stand up and foreign films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Midnight hike up Santa Maria, a 12,375 ft. Guatemalan volcano, reaching the top just in time to see the most beautiful sunrise. Breath-taking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like food, crafts, science, tea and nature. I like learning how to live sustainably and repurpose or make the things I need. I want to be self-suficient. Sewing, crochet, art, yoga, making soap, cooking, baking, using natural remedies, etc. I like the idea of homesteading/ living off the grid. I'm looking to get rabbits in the future so I would not need to purchase meat and animal products.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Germany, Guatemala, Iceland, Ireland, Mexico, Peru, Scotland, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Guatemala, United States
