my name is Catharina (friends call me Catha or Cat)

I started travelling over a year ago and don't plan to stop doing it, it's just amazing. How much O've already learned about myself, other people, cultures and life in general is huge! I like to stay that I'm going to the university of life, what I actually do. Being thrown is ice cold water (or out of your comfortzone) teaches you so much abput life the a university can ever do!

With my 19L backpack and my uke, including my ultra light yoga mat (must have for me!) I make my way around wherever I feel the call to go to.

Loving the outdoors, the forest and the ocean are my safe places, that's where I feel most myself.

Music lifts me up, gets me dancing, turns on my vreative energy. Around the campfire, my tribe, good vibes, I love to sing and play my uke (or guitar). Ecstatic dance, or any movement my body feels like I love to express, sometimes running or hiking, and my yoga practice I try to keep up with daily.

My current mission is to live my dream with full awareness, letting the Divine Consciousness come through me and at the same time be in service for the planet, help people remember their passion and purpose in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I really like the concept behind it. I'm looking forward to meet new people and learning from their different cultures und countries.
I think this is the best opportunity to meet locals and find out more about the place than just the tourist attractions.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music genres are: indie, rock, jazz, , reggae, pop, alternative. And I'm open to try every kind of music. I actually like listening to nearly everything.
I'm playing the guitar, ukulele and piano and I normally accompany myself with these insturment while singing.

Recently I got back into reading, especially those books who teach you things or inspire you. I just finished reading "Conversations With God" and "You can heal your life" - really amazing and even life changing books. Highly recommended!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love making music, so maybe I can teach a little bit playing the guitar or singing.
I also like cooking and am really into healthy nutrition. So it would be nice cooking together and sharing one of my favourite recipes.

Playing cards is a must-do to get to know each other and is really fun as well!

I love doing sport, including yoga, (meditation), running, swimming, and just normal workouts. So doing it together would be nice as well!
