The reason why our response rate is so low is due to the enormous amount of couch requests that we get from people who haven't even read a word here and ask to stay with us on times when we can't host (and we specify that here) or send unpersonal messages. ABOUT ME

We are Catharina and Jakub, a young married couple formed by a Brazilian girl and a Czech guy. We have a little cat, Amélie, and we love to travel and hang out with people. It's not always possible for us to go sightseeing with you (frankly, we've had enough of that), but we can definitely give you great tips and take you out for a few beers.
We have several vintage analogue cameras, so we can take photos of you with one of them, if you want :). We also like to do some experiments with the digital camera and take some irreverent pictures outdoors.
Please, send requests directly, and not via messages. Write a little about yourself and why you're interested in staying with us. And please make your message more personal. Impersonal things like "no money, need a couch" won't be answered.

PHILOSOPHY
