ABOUT ME

I am 33 years old and travelling with my husband of 8 years who is 33. Travelling for a year has ruined us for life so we have quit our jobs to travel again for as long as possible. We have volunteered in Thailand for 6 months teaching English & working with blind children who have autism.
In 2018 we will be moving to China to teach English & will have a spare room to host couchsurfers!

Interests

We both really enjoy music & going to music festivals.
Our other favourite past times would be going to the movies and travelling whenever possible. I am becoming quite interested in photography and I am hoping travelling to lots of different places will give me the opportunity to improve. Russell plays guitar & will really miss his guitars while he is away so if anyone has one he can borrow while staying I'm sure he will give you a big hug.

Music, Movies, and Books

We really enjoy the films of Quentin Tarantino. My 3 favourite movies are Pulp Fiction, Breakfast at Tiffanys & Coming to America & Russell's 3 favourite movies are Evil Dead 2, Kill Bill & Anchorman. We are both music mad but with a wide range of favourite artists from The Smiths to Arctic Monkeys to Fleetwood Mac to Black Sabbath to Michael Jackson to Grimes to Paramore so we can always hold a good conversation when it comes to music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

6 months volunteering in Thailand has definitely made me a better person, working with blind children was such a challenge but has changed my perspective on the world

Teach, Learn, Share

We would both welcome some lessons in any language & cooking and if anyone has any photography tips I would be eager to learn.Russell has surfed a few times but I haven't as not keen on the North Sea but I am hoping to learn while we are away. We would be more than happy to assist people in improving their English.
