I am bookish and quiet but am no stranger to a night out. I have lived in the beautiful PNW since 2008, but a healthy amount of travel is essential to me - exploring new places is key to assuaging my wanderlust.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

New and familiar places to explore are where it's at, but sometimes it's really nice to stay in a place which is welcoming to the traveller. I tend to go off on my own and I've been known to keep uncommon hours, but I respect the guidelines of homes where I'm invited to stay.
Being at a person's house compared with having a hotel room are such drastically different experiences!
