I love meeting people from other countries: always so much to share and it's a wonderful way to travel the world and experience real life elsewhere. I also enjoy giving and receiving information from locals. You get so much more.
Life is enriched by feeling that you have a home and friends in many different countries.

Interessi

Anything cultural: history of countries always interests me, but especially music and art. I love Medieval , Baroque, Renaissance music and art, and travel as often as possible ( 1 a year) to Europe in order to experience whatever I can in various countries. I love the theatre/ dance/ ballet / opera too , reading, food .
I have a large library myself and love food from all over the world. I have literally 100 cookbooks .
I have always sung in a choir wherever I have been and continue to sing a wide variety of music from the 11-21 century.
I love talking about ideas; philosophies which underpin our culture and customs, where our values and attitudes come from , but also about the evolution of artistic and other cultural genres. Analysis of literature I also find exciting: Aristotle said it best: Good conversation is the staff of life.

Musica, film e libri

Probably classical music is the music I listen to most: the greats I certainly love and Bach would top the list, but I also love jazz, especially the Scandinavian variety. I also love African music, fusion music, klezmer, S American tango and am open to discovering new styles anywhere.
The classics of European and English literature are still favourites but I also love writers' festivals and being exposed to writers from all over the world. Sydney writers' festival is now second largest in the world .
I love women's writing , detective fiction, writing about ideas and social commentaries.
I regularly see film from many countries and love film festivals too: Sydney has many film festivals. I enjoy well made films from any genre.
