Hey ! My name is Catherine, I am 24 years old and love to travel. This summer I will be doing a backpacking trip of Europe in mid July for a month with my best friend Rebecca. I have added pictures of both of us so you can get an idea of what we are all about. We will mostly be staying in hostels, and heard about couch surfing through a friend and wanted to give it a try. Last summer (2016), my mom and I took a month long trip to Australia, and travelled to numerous places while over there. We swam in the Great Barrier Reef, took a camel ride in the desert during sunset. Walked through the Dantree rainforest for a day, and went snorkelling with sharks. It was a once in a lifetime experience. On the way home to Canada, we stopped in Vancouver for a week and Hong Kong for five days which was also unreal.

I am very funny, outgoing, always down for new adventures and trying new things. I am spontaneous and very respectful of others. My best friend Rebecca has been my longest friend and we do everything together. She has never been to Europe and she is just very excited to meet new people and have the best time. We love the local scenes, nature, and just being outdoors.
