I am a teacher from the U.S. currently living and working in Thailand. I spend most of my free time traveling, and I love to experience new parts of the world! This summer, I will be in France to watch some matches of the Women's World Cup. I am new to Couchsurfing, but I hope that through this website, I can meet new people and improve my French.

I love to travel, but I'm on a teacher's budget. I also like to meet people. To me, one of the best parts of traveling is meeting people. Experiences are much more meaningful when shared with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is hike Mount Batur, a volcano in Bali, Indonesia, at sunrise. We climbed up in the pitch dark with only torches to light the way, and the view at the top as the sun rose was gorgeous!
