Hi everybody, I'm Catherine and I'm 23 years old. I'm from the South East of England but currently travelling around Western Canada and the USA having just finished 9 months teaching in Quebec.

I love hiking, cycling, skiing and spending time outdoors so if that's the kind of thing you're interested please get in touch! I enjoy swimming and running, and am quite an active person. I love speaking languages and completed my Undergraduate Degree in 2014 in the UK, specialising in French, Spanish and Portuguese. I LOVE to travel and to meet new people, and to try new things. I enjoy taking photos and documenting my travels too!

My music taste is pretty varied and I will listen to most things.... a few of my favourites are Snow Patrol, Sam Smith, Eva Cassidy, Fleetwood Mac, Disclosure, and Taylor Swift....

I love to read, particularly crime, but I'm not the best when it comes to movies! Being a very active person I am not very good at sitting still or concentrating for long periods of time!

Travelled around South America with my best friend for 5 weeks.... learnt Spanish and Portuguese and French..... and worked in France, Spain and Canada!

As I have already mentioned, languages and travel are my passions and I would love to share this with other couch-surfers! If you want to chat in one of the languages I speak I would be more than willing to help, and I would love to share stories of my travels so far as well as hear other peoples stories too!

I have recently purchased a digital SLR and am trying my hand at photography, but truly am a beginner so would love to meet someone who could give me some tips and help me to improve and take wonderful photographs!
