Hey there, you can call me Cat. I am a student currently studying journalism at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I live less than a mile from campus and down the road from the Strip! I work at a restaurant in Caesars Palace when I am not in class and try to spend my days off hiking nearby trails.

I'd always rather be camping and I'm a hiking fanatic. I love to backpack long trails and photograph my travels. I recently picked up painting as a hobby and hope to learn various techniques and become more skilled. I play soccer at my university when I get in a competitive spirit

One of the perks of living in Sin City is all the musicians and bands that come to perform. I enjoy going to concerts and festivals and open to all music types. But if you like alternative indie rock bands such as Foster the People, Local Natives or Tame Impala, we are friends.

One movie I recommend to everyone is Dan in Real Life. It's highly overlooked but it has such authentic emotions and raw humor with an amazing score. The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is also a must.
