Currently an 18 year old student living in the United Kingdom. I am in the final year of studying in college before I go off to University to study Cellular and Molecular Biology. I am a keen traveller who cannot wait to go exploring the globe. Loves experiencing new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am travelling around Italy this summer (2015) with my boyfriend Daniel and would love to experience the culture by meeting those who live in the areas we visit and them being able to show us what each place has to offer.

Interests

I enjoy reading good books, travelling around the world, hiking in new areas, paddle boarding (its so fun!), going to museums, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: No favourites! I am a mix of all types of music, but I do enjoy ones with a good acoustic guitar in.
Movies: Girly films all the way (e.g. 10 Things I Hate About You - very typical)
Books: Any genre. I enjoy fantasy (e.g. Delirium) to mystery (e.g. Gone Girl) and factual (e.g. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say the one (and only) amazing thing I have done so far with my life is climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It is the worlds tallest free standing mountain. The most challenging yet rewarding thing. I hope to tackle Mount Everest Base Camp next...but that is a long way off.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I really am not the best teacher! I don't think I know anything that would be of use to anyone, sorry!
Learn: I would LOVE to learn some basic Italian, I find the language beautiful. I am up for learning anything that anyone is willing to teach me as well, I'm open to all ideas and very easygoing.
Share: Lots of laughs and funny stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I would be the perfect hostee. I am most certainly not any trouble! I tidy up after myself, not at all noisy or rude, very smily and happy person all round. I would love to stay with anyone who is willing to spend the time telling me about the best places to go in the city and show me how to have a good time in the city.
