Hey! I've just finished studying for the moment, and am travelling in South East Asia for a few months, after which I'd love to host guests in my home city, Joburg both because I love meeting new people and also because I think it's a great city to discover since it gets a lot of bad press. I really enjoy trying local foods and going on unusual adventures, which so far I've managed to find both at home and where I've travelled.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been in Thailand and Cambodia for a month now and would love to get to know the places that I'm continuing on to a bit better by meeting people who've lived there for a time and can hopefully recommend slightly more out of the way things to do or try. When I get back home I would love to be able to do the same for people visiting South Africa.

Interests

Mountain biking - I have access to a spare bike so would take you if you're interested on trails in Joburg.
Music - at the moment I'm getting back into podcasts, but usually I get really hooked on a particular genre that I haven't listened to in ages, so I love sharing music and discovering new stuff through other people
Reading - I got a kindle for Christmas, what a treat
I want to say rock climbing and hiking because when I've done it with friends I love it, but I don't pursue it regularly enough to say it's a hobby exactly..
To be honest I'm curious about most things, especially the history of a place that I've just arrived in and experiencing different ways of living, because it's too easy to get stuck in thinking the way I live at home is one of the only options available.
