Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Quite new on the site but I want to be part of this great adventure by hosting travelers from everywhere. I've always been lucky enough to meet nice people each time when I travelled; now I want to offer the same opportunity in my city. I also hope to be welcome in the same way next time I travel! Soon in Chile...;-)

Interests

I love nature, big spaces... maybe cause I live in Paris. More and more I need fresh air, the calm of trees, sea, mountains! I like to walk, ride a bicycle, sit on a beach and stare at the waves, read books, go to cinema, take pictures, talk with friends whilst having a coffee or a good diner... and travels are part of my life. Once a year I try to escape for at least a month and go to see how people live elsewhere :-)

Movies, books and music from all around the world.
I like to buy books (English ones) and music in the countries where I travel. Specific interest for Africa, Australia and South America.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met amazing and great people in Namibia (Himbas tribe), Vietnam and Madasgacar, Guatemala (in small villages where tourists usually don't go). I also discovered magic landscapes in Australia (Pinnacles desert, Ayers Rock and the Northern territory), in New Caledonia (the road going to the North of the island), New Zealand (North island and the road to Cape Reinga), Madagascar (baobab alley, Tsingy, Manakar)... and so many other places
