CURRENT MISSION

My boyfriend and I have just left Colombia after living in Medellin for 2 years. We are now spending 2 months traveling around Mexico before heading back home to Scotland. The mission is to eat as much Mexican food as possible!

ABOUT US

Darren and I love to eat and we love drinking nice coffee (for anyone that hosts us - we have some delicious Colombian coffee with us that we are happy to share!). We are both English teachers and Darren is also a professional musician (guitar). In his spare time he plays music and rugby. In my spare time I love crossfit and practising handstands. We both love a good night out and to do whatever the locals recommend that we do!

I have couch surfered many times (but not for years) and aboslutely love the experience of staying with a local. In my home city of Glasgow I go to CS meet ups and take part in language exchanges with people keen to practice their English

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In Bolivia i made the 24 hour bus journey on 'The Death Road' into a town on the outskirts of the amazon. There, i asked around if there were any indigenous tribes living nearby in the jungle. A man told me he knew a tribe that he thought would let me stay with them so i ventured off 3 hours donwstream on a wee boat, hiking 1 hour into the jungle with a bag of rice. There i met the tribe and stayed over a week with them in the jungle... sleeping on the mud floor, no need for money, fishing, playing games with the kids,learning about Pacha Mama. It was INCREDIBLE! I woke up one night with a Jaguar beside me! AMAZING!
