I spent 2013-2014 teaching English through the Fulbright program in Madrid, Spain. I'm interested in foreign languages, international culture, and traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I find one of the most important aspects of CS is getting the local perspective of a place - and having the opportunity to do certain things that "typical" tourists wouldn't normally find. I've gotten some AMAZING recommendations for things to see and do from hosts and I hope to soon do the same for someone else.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CS during the summer of 2012 and have surfed in Italy, DC, Maine, Norway, and Argentina.

Living abroad for 5 months in Argentina was amazing - seeing Patagonia, Mendoza, and the Iguazau Falls in particular
