Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learning, experiencing, being, and connecting with kindred spirits.
ABOUT ME
I value kindness above all, love meeting new people and hearing their stories, try to listen more than I talk, and am endlessly curious about nearly everything.
PHILOSOPHY
It's all One, and it's all Divine. I do my best and like to think others do the same. Belief is vastly overrated--it's far better to observe and experience with an open mind and heart.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Host and guest
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE It's limited so far, at least through this group, although spareroom.co.uk has been a great resource in England. Also, I've lived in several communes over the years.
Interests
Religions and spiritual paths, especially shamanism and Advaita Vedanta; endless speculation about human prehistory; Jungian psychology; the arts. It's hard to bore me unless you go on and on about sports or finance. I've worked with the mentally ill and intellectually disabled, as well as a number of people in various sorts of difficulty, and have learned to appreciate the gifts we all can share.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm always reading at least one book. At the moment, it's Simon-Baron Cohen, Karen Armstrong, and Phil Rickman. I enjoy quirky independent films, intelligent comedies and psychological thrillers, and documentaries about unusual people and places. I like most music, and love singer songwriters, classical guitar, and everything that makes me feel good about life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some people thought selling everything and joining a commune in my fifties was amazing, but it seemed normal to me!
Teach, Learn, Share
I keep an open mind and an open heart, love to share anything I know and always learn from listening to others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Just my easy-going oldish self. And a good ear.
