CURRENT MISSION

A 7 month backpacking trek to find myself and experience the world! :)

ABOUT ME

I'm 29, and doing my 10 years since High School all over again. (Hope to get it right this time!). Am currently just over half way through my trip. I have been to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, India, Nepal, South Africa, Botswana & Zimbabwe, and I have Egypt, Turkey, & China left before I get home sweet home.
I am looking for fun, culture, things I can not experience in the western world, enlightenment, new friends and new experiences.
I am leaving behind... my snowboard, surfboard, musical instruments & 4 more years of full time study.

PHILOSOPHY

I am trying to discover who I am. I have had a major life upheaval in the last 18 months and am looking at trying out a bunch of things to see what fits. I am more of a wine over dinner and hilarious conversation as opposed to a pub crawl kind of girl. I love music, art, philosophy, new perspective and anyone who is interested in talking about life (not the lifestyles of the rich and famous). My motto is "Do what you wanna be" - although I am still trying to figure that one out myself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I board so I am unable to be a host, although I can only gather from what I've seen here, I'll be eager to offer whatever I can, once I am back and settled in Australia.
At the moment, I am interested in a real local experience, in all of the areas I'm travelling to. I hope to meet new friends, perhaps help with your English or your guitar skills or cook a meal or two in exchange for your friendship and hospitality.
