I'm interested in learning about different perspectives and ways to be. I'm a default yes person and am down for new experiences. Professionally, I work in medicine (mental health in particular) and international development. I like to help out when I can so I'll meet up for coffee, show you around (wherever i am living), and cook for you if possible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Brussels, Amsterdam, and Copenhagan and loved all experiences. Great to learn from locals about different lifestyles.

Interesses

My interests are music (live particularly), fair trade, baking, int'l development and social justice, global mental health, wwoofing, intentional communities, and trampolines.

I like books and movies involving philosophy (like Herman Hesse), humor, love, and interesting facts. Note: Tom Robbins fits all of these categories.
I like mainly alternative, electronica, rock, rap, and such and am always interested in learning about good music! Some favorite bands are: Daft Punk, Broken Social Scene, Stereolab, Neutral Milk Hotel, Lil' Wayne, M.I.A., The Unicorns, Portishead, Cat Power, Of Montreal, TV on the Radio, Girl Talk, Pavement, Radiohead, Justice.
As for movies, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Magnolia, Annie Hall, Milk, and Wet Hot American Summer... to name a few.
