ABOUT ME

I was a high school counselor in Charlotte, NC for two years and went to Seoul to teach English for a break to see Asia, experience a different culture, and travel when I get the chance. That lasted for 3.5 years and now I'm back in the states for more graduate school. Think I've figured out what I want to do now. *fingers crossed*

I'm just a fun-loving girl who will try most things that aren't too dangerous. I love making new friends and cherish the ones I already have.

I'm studying online and work in a very small office, so I'd like to meet more travelers in my area for conversation or to do something fun. If you can tell me what some fun things to do in this town are, points to you! :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have only participated by offering conversation and showing visitors around or joining CS group meetings. I haven't hosted or surfed yet, except crashing on fellow CS friend's couches from time to time. I'm looking forward to participating more in the future...

MOVIES: indie, romantic comedies, cheesy 80's teen movies... basically anything that isn't scary. i'm very squeamish and don't like to be scared!

favorites: pretty in pink, sixteen candles, fast times at ridgemont high, heathers, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, donnie darko, anchor man, juno...and many more i can't think of right now.

MUSIC: indie, electronic, dance

BOOKS: anything I can learn from...or travel books. a few classics...don't make much time to read.
