ABOUT ME

So I'm currently in Sheffield, and am going to be so for the next 2 years, but have been give extremely itchy feet following a summer spent in the States in 2005, and then a 2 month trip to South America March 2007...I love university, getting to meet new people all the time, a great passion of mine...and i'm using evry point i can to take this hobby to more far flung places! I like to have fun, be happy, and see that the people around me are happy too! :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very eclectic taste in music...same for movies. I love reading books set in other cultures, such as the Glass Palace by Amitav Ghosh, or A Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, but my all time favourites are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and Captain Corelli's Mandolin, by Louis de Bernieres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting on the beach at 4am in my Pjs in Cape Cod in 2005 watching the sun come up with my best friend on one of our last nights in the States was pretty special....
