ABOUT ME

Like a quiet, easy life! Love the arts, architecture, history and world culture, plus cinema, reading, playing games. Enjoy time with new and old friends and family. Find it good fun being with my daughter and other kids- disco dancing in the living room and doing treasure hunts! Not keen on shopping, commercialism and tv (except the Apprentice, sad I know). Like finding out more about people and the world. Love to meet people from different countries and find out their perspectives. Enjoy silence but mind always busy. Recycle everything but drive a car. Bit lazy in body but not in mind. Hopelessly indecisive.

PHILOSOPHY

Realise that I do not have a well thought through philosophy! Whoops. But do like to help people and contribute to society. Like to think globally and not just about myself and my own 4 walls. Honesty and integrity important to me.

sounds naff but... watching my daughter grow up and her smile every morning! She is 7.

Teach, Learn, Share

Set up a Time Bank in a 'deprived' community, co- wrote book about public sculpture of North East England. I can do Indian Head massage and reflexology (kind of). I would like to learn about other cultures, politics, spirituality, all sorts.....
