ABOUT ME

Quiet, respectful, clean. That's boring I suppose. I love books and films, although I am terrible at recognizing either of them if you start telling me about them. I enjoy alone time but I also thrive when I can talk with people. I'm more of a one-on-one kind of person that feels kinda awkward in parties. I love the color purple and yellow makes me feel happy. I'm a student currently and hope to eventually graduate and become an English teacher somewhere in the world. I like travelling because I like seeing new things, stretching myself, and meeting people. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In couchsurfing? I've surfed a few places now. I've also stayed at people's houses before and I've been hosted by a family in London. I can host only on a limited basis currently because I live in a dorm, but I'd love to show you around my little town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had great experiences in the UK with couch surfing. People were friendly and helpful.

Interests

Reading, Films, Travelling. I kinda sorta make crafts. I can knit and kinda crochet. I sorta can do other crafty sort of things but I've never taken enough time to actually become good at them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jane Eyre, RENT, A Princess Bride, Cars, Little Women, oohh I could keep naming books and movies.
I listen mainly to Christian music, not just hymns and gospel. Some of my fav's include For King and Country, Chris Tomlin, and Jason Gray.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have read Winnie the Pooh (in my horrid Spanish) to a group of children in Panama (maybe they listened because they thought my Spanish was funny to listen to). I've climbed to the top of a castle ruins in Conwy, Wales. I've people watched in a park outside of Dublin when I decided to just hop on a bus and ride it until I felt like getting off. I've lived in a dorm (hey that's a feat by itself) for three years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can knit! I can also make bracelets. I can cook a pretty great meatloaf and some awesome cherry pie. Basically I love making desserts (give me a recipe and I'll try it), mainly because I like to eat them.
