ABOUT ME
Lived in London for the last twenty years and still love it!Incomparable for the arts, there's always something happening. I also love the countryside and happily have family who live in rural Ireland so spend a fair bit of time there. Love Irish traditional music and play the fiddle- so can show you the Irish scene in London.
I love food both cooking and eating out- know millions of great cheap places to eat and some not so cheap...I enjoy meeting people and showing them my adopted city- I love walking through the city- you get such a feel for it on foot, I'm interested in the history of London, and used to work for the Museum of London when I first came here.
PHILOSOPHY
Do as you would be done by, if you don't like something- change it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sounds cheesy but it's true...I was working over Christmas in a homless centre and had been playing music, a girl came up and asked to borrow my fiddle - she'd been annoying all the oher guests, fighting, swearing and generally being a a pain in the hole...I love my fiddle but decided to lend it to her - what harm could she do?? She played a piece of Bartok to the most staggeringly high standard- the whole room just stopped and listened and was transfixed- I don't think there was a dry eye in the house!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to play the fiddle or dance a jig.
