About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be more awesome! less facebook, more camping!

ABOUT ME

**UPDATE**

I am packing up my life in a backpack having graduated from art school and worked like crazy to save enough to get me to the USA to dream big and make things happen. I will be hopefully based in NYC for the majority time, but will be going wherever I can find work/fun/adventure. My mission is to live (and travel) to as many different places as possible. So far I have called home to Shenyang, China, Chiang Mai, Thailand, Uluru in the middle of Australian desert and now, Brooklyn, NYC.

I'm super chilled, I like hanging out with friends either going to the pub or to eat yum food, but I also like to ride my bike around, go to galleries or shows, shopping at markets and vintage shops, make things, cook and hosting dinner parties. I'm environmentally friendly, like to recycle and save energy, and would hope that you do too.

I get loads of requests, especially in summer and will try to host when I can. Couchsurfing to me is about human connection, meeting interesting people and sharing, not entirely about a free bed. I prefer to host people who I believe I would find interesting and get along with, more like making friends. I would appreciate a personal message not a copy and paste request, this to me speaks volumes about who you are and who I let into my home. As an added thing for fun if you can include the word "horses" that would give you extra points!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and hanging out with cool/ interesting people

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed many times before I even heard of this site, so when I joined it felt like I was home with my people. I have been hosting for a few years and have met some amazingly awesome people & heard some great stories.

This is about community, kindness and learning, meeting like-minded people who you can hang out and be friends with. If you are here to only save a few bucks, sleep for the night, make a mess & be antisocial by only doing your own thing always, please don't send me a request. If you're supercool, kind, interesting & wanting to make a new friend, I'll be really happy to hear from you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My life so far has been a mix bag of experiences & I'm consistently creating adventures and experiences to add into the bag. I lived in China for 1.5 years. New York for about a year, the middle of the Australian desert for a few months and various places around Thailand for a year all up. These are just the times and the places, but the experiences and the people and the stories during these times and the times in between are the highlights as well .

The next adventure to add - living off the grid on a desert island :)
