CURRENT MISSION

We are accomplishing a dream we had as a couple...we are going to JAPAN together!! For the rest we are just trying to enjoy ourselves.

ABOUT ME

We are a young couple (Julio is 30, Cata 28), we´ve been married since April 2010. Julio is a very active easy going person...he is a software engineer, Karate fighter and teacher and a piano player (for hobby) He has been doing Karate for 15 years now..he enjoys it more than anything. Karate has enabled him to meet really interesting people and travel to GREAT places like Montreal and Tokyo.
Cata is an industrial engineering trying to find something to earn my living by doing something that benefits more people than myself. I found this in Corporate Social Responsibility are...I´ve worked in sustainability projects for 3 years now. I LOVE traveling more than anything..comes in the family. I think it´s necessary to know and live in other places when you come from a SMALL country like Costa Rica.
We both enjoy interesting conversations and meeting new places...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are new to CS but we have crashed some couches before. We love the idea beacause is the best way to really get to know a new place. Julio has stayed with "friends of friends" in NYC and Montreal and Cata also in Paris and Madrid.
Our traveling experience has been almost an exchange experience...we look forward for that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Julio: fighting with a japanese karate champion 30 kgs heavier than him. Playing the piano with his sored karate hands.
Cata: crossing the world for the student exchange in New Zealand (21 hour travel)
