Because hanging out with locals is undoubtedly the very best way to see and experience a place.

Interests

Whilst travelling I do a lot of drawing, writing and reading, and will never be seen without a notebook. I love to swim (used to be a competitive synchronised swimmer) and enjoy most sports and outdoor activities. Adrenalin junkie, will jump off anything high, attached to parachutes, bungees or just with a body of water beneath to catch me. I'm a coffee connoisseur and can spend hours in a good cafe. I ride horses both for a living and as a hobby.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: everything from Eminem to Johnny Cash, Nirvana to Nina Simon.
Movies: anything that will make me think. Or films with dancing in...
Books: it would take up too much space to list them all. Some of my all-time favourite authors are Jack Kerouac (and all the Beat Generation writers), F. Scott Fitzgerald, Sylvia Plath, Ernest Hemingway and Emily Bronte. If you're into classic literature we'll get on.

I can tell you all about the different cultures I have experience of, if you want to hear, but I won't drone on about myself and my life for hours in a irritating, self-absorbed way. I can probably cook you a typically British meal! And if you wanna learn the basics of synchronised swimming, well...
