Hola! My name's Catto and I'm a friendly and upbeat Canadian about to take off on a super exciting solo half-world tour in January. I'll be revisiting a few places that I want to explore further or have friends and family in, like Paris, London, Berlin and Shanghai, but also visiting the Far East, South East Asia, the Middle East, Morocco, Central and Western Europe and Scandinavia. I'm new to couch surfing but have heard great things about it and love the idea of making new friends all over the world and eventually sharing my own place too. I'm a painter (visual artist) and work for an amazing company in hospitality and am super interested in contemporary art, museums, cycling, running, house music and jazz, books, cooking, design, architecture, wiener dogs and travel. I'm fun, neat, responsible and love cooking so lets be friends and have a dinner party :)

I love the idea of a cool, open community of new friends and world travellers supporting each other. Obviously travelling can be very expensive and couch surfing is economic and also provides an opportunity to meet really interesting people who can ideally introduce you to their home, culture and city.
