ABOUT ME

Ã? am a person of extremes. Ã? can make myself do amazing things once i decide to, work like a dog for months in order to travel, kick my ass to be first in class, otherwise i am a rather lazy, easy-going type. My (distant, ellusive) goal is to work in the field of language and cultural preservation in Central Asia and to learn a ridiculous amount of 'commercially useless' languages.

PHILOSOPHY

The most precious thing is one's sense of humour. Ã?t is essential to be able to laugh at one's self. As my father once said: there is no such thing as the dark night of the soul, there's only the dark night of the ego.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've done a fair amount of couch surfing in my life, between sublets and summer jobs and break ups and travels. also my own couch (a seven foot long beauty from circa 1974) has been quite popular when not in storage.
