ABOUT ME

I'm traveling with a friend and we dont take life too seriously. We're easy going and take each day as it comes. We left the UK in Sep 2010 to be unemployed, homeless and to see the world. We have spent the last year living & working in Perth and are happy to announce that we are once again, full time travellers and part time piss artists!

Love cheese...Hate smelly feet!!

We love to embrace new lifestyles and hope to explore many more, just call us 'culture sluts'. We value local knowledge, whether it's the best beach or best bar to go to! We have no objection to sociable drinking and strongly believe that 'medicinal herbal remedies' prescibed to all world leaders would result in world peace.....tried and tested in Manali (India) where the weed grow's at the side of the road and everyone's chilled a f**k!

We are both 28 & graduated from uni a couple of years ago (actually we've been travelling for a couple of years so uni must be further back than I once thought.....ah well whatever it was before travelling highlighting another major skill we excell in...loosing track of time!. I studied International Business and Vikki studied Law. We have been friends for 9 years, meeting at a 21st birthday party and partying together ever since!

We are practically married but without the downside of noisey sex or arguements. We both enjoy a sarcastic sence of humour whether it's banter with new people or taking the piss out of ourselves or each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We first heard about couch surfing in South America and thought it was something we would be interested in becoming a part of whilst travelling and whilst back in the UK. Our first experience of CS was in Bondi, Sydney with Rupert and Hugh - who were great hosts and affirmed our initial suspicions that this was indeed a great community to become a part of. We hope to represent the UK as well as the places we've seen when we offer our couches to other people.

Interests

- Watching Stand-up comedy, whether live (Ricky Gervais was awesome) or on DVD!!
- Cooking (wait till you taste my wicked spag bol or for the sweet tooth maybe a pancake breakfast?!?!)
- Eating...anything and everything, with a side of cheese!!
- Festivals/Live Music
- Extreme sports including:- skydiving, ziplining, zorbing, parasailing, white water rafting and wake boarding.

Music, Movies, and Books

We have quite an eclectic taste in music ranging from Chase and Status to Ritchie Spice, and from Newton Faulkner to Davd Guetta.

We will watch literally ANY film!!

Our favourite books include Marching Powder and Shantaram. We particularly love reading books that have been recommended and are fed up with Lonely planets and prefer advice straight from the horse's mouth.

Teach, Learn, Share

We could teach you how to speak Welsh, play shithead, dance with Poi, juggle egg's or any other completely useless skill we possess. We also have plenty of drinking games up our sleeves, so are sure we could bring something new to the table and people to the floor!

Interested in learning any new phrases in other languages, anything about new cultures and any receipe as WE LOVE FOOD!!
