For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move.

ABOUT ME

I am currently a sophomore at Northwest Missouri State University majoring in Nutrition & Food: Dietetics. I have found that I am a very restless person and don't like to stay put for a long period of time. I haven't gotten as many traveling opportunities as I would have liked, but I'm still young and have many travels planned once I become more economically independent (hopefully next summer?) After college, I plan on joining the Peace Corps or another overseas volunteer organization and teach people about proper nutrition. I'm hoping that while working in whatever country I'm sent, I'll obtain a new sense of myself and really know what I want to do with the rest of my life. I'm a very down to earth girl and love new experiences! If the opportunity arises, I'd love to give people the grand tour of the lovely town known as CoMO!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music! My favorite types tend to be more alternative music, though I love any song that I can relate to, has a good sound, and really makes me think. I also believe music should sound better live, that way you know the artist really does have talent and isn't all fixed up by AutoTunes.

I love any type of movie. I don't really have a favorite type, but I do like independent films and documentaries a lot. I feel like if they make me think and in those extreme cases, make me re-evaluate my own life, the film makers have done their job.

I love reading and have a book with me almost everywhere I go. I don't really have a favorite type, but do tend to stick with novels, especially the classics.
