CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to graduate college, do a bit of traveling/ hiking/ friendmaking and independent learning, maybe learn to play guitar.

ABOUT ME

Am a history, music, literature and learning buff who also likes to get around by way of feet. I barely use my truck during the summer unlike most of the rest of the denizens of my town. Unique Shops and Great parks are two of my favorite places to be along with just reading a book or chilling in some other manner. I also love Good food and moderate amounts of drink to go with good people.

PHILOSOPHY

Right now I think Bob Dylans "My Back Pages" and Pete Seegers "If I had a Hammer" sums up most aspects of that fairly succinctly. Throw in "I Hear Them All" and Bridge Over Troubled Water.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I do not have a place of my own to share but will have one sometime in the future depending on how fast I get done with college. I plan on being a good hostee to any host willing to have me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed on my niece's couch in minneapolis for several days ( I have a niece older than myself). It was a good time as my niece is a good host. I also have of course had many sleepovers at friends house in the minot area though it has been a while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing in the middle of stonehenge at sunrise and Rock Climbing in Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. Both were awe inspiring once in a liftime beautifully mystical experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a fair amount about hostels as I stayed in about 9 of them during my last sojourn in Europe. I also know a good bit of history, music, philosophy- various humanities. I am a decent conversationalist if given the right person to talk with and a fair singer if given the right tune. I am average with computers, cooking and other practical skills. Will be taking Arabic in the fall so I should know something about that after then. I know a great amount about travel in The U.K. and the Republic Of Ireland.
