Hi! I’m CC! I love to hike, explore, and meet new people. I’m traveling around the world after finishing my WHV in New Zealand. I am at the end of my trip and currently traveling SE Asia on my way back to the U.S. I’m from the United States and live in Washington DC where I have my wonderful puppy waiting for me! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people from around the world and making new friends. As a traveler, it’s always great to be able to connect with those local and other fellow travelers. I think couch surfing is a good way to do this and maybe make some wonderful friendships that might even lead to me hosting in the future.

(I used to use couch surfing a few years back, but deleted my account when COVID hit — this is my new account) :)

Movies: I’m a sucker for rom coms and I love a good action/adventure. Also always down to watch any of the Harry Potter movies or any Wes Anderson Film :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done some amazing things while I’ve been abroad and in my life, but one of my favorites has to be getting to backpack the South Island of New Zealand. It was a dream for me to be able to live there and travel the country and it didn’t disappoint!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always looking to learn more about the cultures I get to experience while traveling. But more importantly I am always interested in the food culture of each place I travel to. I believe cooking is a true language in itself. And through the act of cooking and sharing recipes, I am able to really immerse myself within that culture and taste all it has to offer. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a clean and very tidy person. I don’t like to take up a lot of space. I am organized and never leave my things out. I am always willing to help out if needed and will always leave my space cleaner than I found it! I love to explore, adventure, and have new experiences, so any suggestions I am always happy to take. I love to get to know people and make friends wherever I go, but as a solo traveler, I am also good and can enjoy keeping to myself and going on solo adventures. But if you travel a lot as well, I’d love to hear all about your travels and any stories you would want to share. :)
