Don't get complacent. Also, the horizon can never be to big.
I am an optimistic dude; with some flaws, some good sides and some what might be considered oddities. Generally people consider me one of the good guys (or so I'd like to think). I have a lot of respect for most people and try to always stay humble.
On the Sliding Scale of Idealism Versus Cynicism (see TVTropes.org) I would place myself in the vicinity of blue-eyed naïveté rather than jaded cynicism.
Also? At night I put on a cape and fight crime!
This one is actually very hard to answer. It used to be easier, something along the lines of "I want to excel at what I do".
I'm going to have a line like this again, simple and concise, but until then I'll figure out my place in this world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I don't really have a couch big enough for sleeping but an awesome Mexican-style hammock.
I'm completely new to this project, but when a friend told me about it, the concept appealed to me right away. I'm excited to meet new people of from all walks of life.
Television and film have had my attention, both on the production and the consumer side, since I was 16. While there are many fields I could imagine devoting my time to, none has been as consistently fascinating as the moving image on the screen.
Music, Movies, and Books
'Serenity' as favorite movie too much of a cliché? Maybe, but there you go. In the classics section there's '12 Angry Men' and 'Das Boot'. This year's 'Kick-Ass' also left a lasting impression.
As with most people, my music preferences are in constant flux. If I were to name three bands that stood the test of endless listens, it'd be Led Zeppelin, the White Stripes and the Beastie Boys (well aware of the irony).
Afraid to say I don't read that much these days. When I did, Ken Follet's 'Pillars of the Earth' was the one that blew my mind the most.
