I just moved out on my own after an 11 year relationship and begining to rediscover myself. A description at this point would be confusing at best.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is a little out of whack lately. I'm trying to change that - hence the adventure of couch surfing!

Interests

The last few years my time has been consumed with working full-time and finishing my Bachelor's degree. With school almost complete, I'm looking forward to spending some time on my real interests - photography, hiking & camping, reading and playing with my cats.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies. Some of my favorites are American Beauty, Vanilla Sky and anything with Johnny Depp. Yum.
My music tastes vary pretty widely, with the exception of country, rap and hip-hop. I prefer more intense music and older stuff. The latest phase lies along the lines of industrial - Marilyn Manson, NIN, VNV Nation, Laibach, etc.
My book tastes range as much as my musical tastes - history, philosophy, fiction, and a good trashy novel every once in a while is mandatory.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago, my ex and I went to Germany in February. While getting lost in the Bavarian Alps late at night, we got stuck in the worst snow storm. It was a small windy road with no where to pull off without driving off the mountains. The threat of getting stuck kept us pressing on. Scary and awesome at the same time.
