ABOUT ME

I am originally from Bavaria but I live since 15 years in a small village 30km from Girona, in one of the most beautiful areas of Spain. I live in huge old farmhouse, carefully restored with lots of space. I travel a lot, so can not spent so much time at home as I would like to do. I love the Catalan / Spanish way of life, that means a breakfast can easily last from ten a clock in the morning to four a clock in the afternoon.

PHILOSOPHY

I am convinced that our generation, born after the second world war in central Europe has an obligation to enjoy live to hundred per cent, because circumstances never have been better in history of all mankind.
We do not know, how it feels to be poor, we do not know, how it is to be hungry, we do not know what war means..........

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First one with Anibal "animal" very positiv. He stayed ten days and helped a lot in the house and the garden. We took him on two motorcycletours and showed him what we call Enduro

Interests

I am a creative multi purpose person, I love real action like skiing in deep powder snow, mountaineering, motorcycling and some more. But I also love cultural events like theatre, concerts and even opera..... I spent several years travelling around the world and I love to meet people from other countries, other cultures and to exchange with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kind of good music, first off all classical, jazz, pop and rock. I hate techno!! I do not have enough time to see all the movies I would like to see and read all the books I would love to read...
