ABOUT ME

I'm a dreamer.
I grow up in a traditional Chinese family and receive traditional educations, being a 'good' student with good exam results and try to find a good job as my parents always expect me to do. I came to Singapore alone when I was 17 and entered local university here. Study hard and try to live in local. I lived a down-to-earth life for about 20 years just as the way a normal Chinese girl should go. HOWEVER, when I was running and running around the world, I talked to people, I experienced their lives, and I see myself. I realise that life can be different, and it is not necessary to live as you are expected, but to live as you expect, live as you like. I like the attitude of French towards life, I like the passion for dreams from the American, I like the sparks when someone says YOLO, I like the sunshine when I open my door and think that I enjoy this wonderful day. Life is great, as you live it great!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and surfing.
I host travellers when I'm able to and I also surf during my tour.
I want to attend CS weekly gatherings but barely have time due to my heavy study:(
Sometimes I meet up for a cup of coffee with CSers.

兴趣

Arts and outdoor activities.
I love music, especially the classic music. I play the violin in a symphonic orchestra so you know how much I love the symphonic concerto. I sometimes practice the guitar, but not quite good at it. I'm also practicing Banduria and Mandolin. Music is part of my life.
Photography is one of my favourite things. I love to take pictures of people and natural landscape, especially to record the unawared expressions of people. One of my dreams is to travel around the world while take photo of all the beautiful scenes.
I love reading also, most about Chinese literature. Currently I'm discovering the English literature through some novels. Pride and prejuidice is my favourite book.
I love outdoor activities. I think I am a girl who loves adventure. Hiking, climbing, jogging, ect. I always want to try sailing! Recently I fall in love with scuba diving!

Riding a bike for 4 hours just to meet a guy who I happened to meet on a train in Taiwan, and it comes with a beautiful memory though I was dead tired....
