ABOUT ME

Im currently a student at Pennsylvania State University studying my undergraduate in Landscape Architecture. I just got back from my study abroad in New Zealand over the summer and had a fantastic experience exploring both the north and south island - hitched for the first time in my life and rode along to wherever life took me!! I'm in my final year here at Penn State and am planning on joining the US AirForce upon graduation to become a pilot. Along with my studies, I'm an active firefightere here at Alpha Co. 5 and love every part of it.

I'm 21, born and raised with in State College, Pennsylvania. I would consider myself to be a very outgoing guy - I love the outdoors and any kind of adventure. I'm an avid skier, hiker, camper, swimmer, etc. Pretty much anything i can do do to get me outside. I also am big into cars and have restored multiple classic muscle cars as a hobby and a job over the last few years.

I like to go out when i can! I love having a good time, regardless of what I'm doing or where I am. I would love to meet some new people travelling and hopefully i can get back out on the road soon!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just finished my tour of New Zealand and learned SOOOO much!! I loved absolutely every single day i was over there and miss everyone that's still there tremendously. I would love to host some people if you've comin through town (lets hope its a football weekend and we'll definitely show you what PennState's about!!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time hosting on Couch Surfer. I've met up with a few people in NZ both through Couch Surfer and through some of their friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a very wide array of music - Can't say i enjoy country music too much, but it's not all bad.

I really enjoy watching movies. The Bourne series is probably my favorite, but i enjoy a good comedy, and even the occasional ChickFlick if I'm with the right company

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Toured around New Zealand for over 6 Months

I've stood on the top of Mt. Baldy and seen far enough to see 5 states at once.

Studied in Todi, Italy for 8 weeks and met some AMAZING people

Teach, Learn, Share

I would say I have some rather honed camping and survival skills. I think that FireBuilding is a skill that EVERYONE should know or learn; you never know when you might be in a situation that calls for it.

I try to keep myself educated in as many facets of life and culture as i can. I think that it's very important to learn how other think and what other people believe
