About Me

I’m Ceci, a curious and optimistic person who loves deep conversations. I’m passionate about meeting new people, learning from different cultures, and sharing authentic experiences. I live in San Marcos Sierras, a small town surrounded by nature, where life flows at a different pace — simpler, more present, and more connected.

I studied Business Administration and Social Psychology, and today I lead social impact projects across Latin America. I also support learning and personal development processes, especially with teenagers. I’m deeply interested in everything that helps people live with purpose, freedom, and joy.

In my free time, I love walking in the hills, spending time by the river, cooking vegetarian meals, and reading about astrology and spirituality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

✨ I love meeting new people and discovering local places and cultures when I travel. Couchsurfing is such a great way to meet people who share that same vibe!

Interests

I’m passionate about everything that helps people live more consciously and connected — with themselves, with others, and with nature.

I’m deeply interested in psychology, personal growth, spirituality, and education, especially when they blend with creativity and community life.

I love exploring different ways of living, from small eco-villages to big cities full of culture and movement. I enjoy meeting people who are creating change, whether through art, teaching, sustainability, or simple acts of kindness.

Some of the things that light me up:

+ Long walks in nature and watching sunsets
+ Writing, journaling, and meaningful conversations
+ Cooking vegetarian food and trying local flavors
+ Music, storytelling, and shared silences
+ Discovering how people think and feel in different cultures

I value authenticity, openness, and humor — they make any journey better.

Music, Movies, and Books

🎶Music:
Music always accompanies me — it’s a way to feel, to connect, and to remember what’s essential.
I love artists who bring soul and presence into their songs: Gustavo Cerati, Fito Páez, Sam Garrett, Pedro Pastor, Danit, Norah Jones and Krishna Das.
I enjoy live music and dancing freely — sometimes to drums, sometimes to silence.

🎬Movies & Series:
I’m drawn to stories that touch something real — love, freedom, and the search for meaning.
Some of my favorites are Into the Wild, Interstellar, and the Before Sunrise / Before Sunset / Before Midnight trilogy.
And when I need to laugh or relax, I always go back to Friends or How I Met Your Mother — comfort series that feel like home.

📚Books:
Books are one of my favorite ways to travel inward. I love stories that speak about identity, transformation, and belonging.
Some that have stayed with me are Siddhartha (Hermann Hesse), Canto yo y la montaña baila (Irene Solà), La mujer habitada (Gioconda Belli), and Los Guachos (Roberto Torres

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to live in a big, busy city, surrounded by noise, deadlines, and endless movement. While I loved the energy and possibilities, I realized I needed more quiet, connection, and simplicity in my life.

A year ago, I moved to San Marcos Sierras, a small town surrounded by nature. Living here has taught me to slow down, appreciate small moments, and live more sustainably — from cooking with fresh local ingredients to walking instead of driving.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m drawn to experiences where people are actively creating positive change, whether through community projects, sustainability initiatives, education, or art.

I love meeting people who are turning ideas into action, and I try to do the same wherever I go — sharing knowledge, exchanging skills, or simply helping to build connections between people and communities.

For me, every conversation, every shared meal, and every new perspective is a practice in making the world a little better. Traveling is a way to observe, reflect, and act, bringing what I learn into my own life and sharing it with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I bring curiosity, openness, and a willingness to connect.

I love sharing meaningful conversations, exploring ideas about life, personal growth, and different cultures. I enjoy cooking vegetarian meals and exchanging recipes or tasting local flavors together.

Traveling is also about cultural and spiritual exchange for me — I love connecting with people who are curious about life, traditions, and ways of being in the world.

I also enjoy movement and health practices — from yoga and biodanza to mindful walks or simple exercises — and I’m happy to share these experiences.
