Howdy!

I'm a Mexican-American from Roma, Texas. I'm a practicing veterinarian fresh out of vet school (c/o 2019...whoop!) I'm months away from marrying my amazing fiancé, Jon Ray. We currently live in McAllen, Texas. Our little family consists of 4 furry dogs: Biscuit, Oreo, Roxy Pebbles, and Savanna.

I first traveled abroad in 2016 and have been fascinated by travel ever since. I get a kick out of learning about new places, the culture, and the people who call it home. I have an interest in meeting others from all over the world, and learning about where they're from and their upbringings.

I can come off as an introvert at first, but am actually quite friendly once I overcome some ice-breakers!

I love food, animals, and a good laugh. (Aside from my family)-hot wings, resistant workouts at the gym, and Green Day are a few of my favorite things in life!

I'm new to Couchsurfing, but my fiancée is an active member; I've met other CSers through Jon Ray hosting at our home. I figured it would be good for me to become a member, as I like to travel myself.

I hope to meet and connect with people from areas around my travel destinations to help enhance my traveling experiences. On the same token, I hope I can be a person others reach out to when they visit the McAllen, Texas area!
