Overview
About Me
I'm a teaching artist, activist, social worker, and musician originally from Washington State. Before moving to New York I taught English to children in Normandy, France for two years. It was there that a friend told me that every language you learn is like another life you gain. Since then I've been determined to travel, meet new people, and learn as many languages as I can. I'm fascinated by how these experiences challenge you to question who you are, what you believe, and how you see the world.
I'm very lucky to live in such a diverse city with so many opportunities for artists and language learners! Every Sunday in NYC I help host a language exchange Meetup for hundreds of people from all over the world! For more information: www.meetup.com/LanguageNYC/
