ABOUT ME

I loved travelling because when you are alone in a new culture you find yourself in a situation where no one knows you, and therefore learned about your self in ways that you couldn't have imagine. And let these new ways transform yourself is more or less what i will call to be authentic, leaving for yourself and forgetting about the others. And consequently I believe I am a very opened mind person, nothing is black or white, I will never rejecting the possibilities of experiencing things people will say "I will never do that"! I am always smiling and ready to help you, this is what keeps me lucky- perhaps the million unlucky things that happened to me- my father used to called me Bridget Jones!

I'm studying international development at McGill univercity.
three years ago, I decided to learn Portuguese, so I spent all my summer in Azores. I loved the experience of travelling and decided, the next year to leave a year in France, where I had a flat. From there I traveled around and learned from what I've seen and from people I met.
I'm easy going, like culture and passionate of politic.
Love life, taking time to enjoy it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been using couchsurfing whenever I had an opportunity too. My first experience was in marseille back in 2010. I haven't read the owl profile carefully and didn't catch up the guy didn't have any sheet, it was around 5-10 decree outside, i freezed all night. From than on, I never send or accept invitation without reading the details, I am trying not to be has much enthusiastic only by the person picture and profile description :)Otherwise, I have been using it in East Europe, India, and some casual trip around Canada!

I would say I am a reel fan of the "Bon vivre"! I am half Portuguese and lived for a year in Lyon, there nothing more enjoyable for me than a cup of wine with a cigarette around 7 pm outside in a park and looking at people walking back from work- the sun being up until 9pm. My interest are the one that give me pleasure and happiness, a especially the little everyday things that are making you smile

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

There numerous things I guess that I could have written here. But my last most memorable event, was the conference I organize while I was in Ghana last summer. I was in charge of coordinating a leadership and entrepreneurship conference for youth in Tamale. The imagine conference by my boss was one of 12 thousand Canadian money, but of course we didn't have any. And so I organize a selling program, where student will be selling product on campus through what we've called a entrepreneurship program. What struck me was the passion and the intelligent students put in there work in order to attend the conference, and more over there willingness to be vulnerable and learned everything that they could grasp from their activities and workshop. Even during the conference, they would stop working at 12am, and calling me at 4 am asking me question about their social enterprise project they had to conceive. I have rarely seen as much happiness and recognition from someone, as these students have regarded their experience at the Baobab conference :)
