I used to travel lots when I was in my early 20's . I lived in Washington DC, Boliva, Angola, and Zaire. Now I grew roots and lived in Merritt for 20 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on couchsurfing because my early years traveling to 3rd world countries shaped me into an individual that has no interest in gaining material possessions, and I like to live cheaply, and not affect the environment if I can help it. I like meeting new people, and wish for people to come stay at my house for free too. (I am not on couchsurfing to make online friends and chat, I have no interest in responding to you, unless you are traveling through my town, or I am traveling through your town.)

I have a hobby of hang gliding, I have done the ironman race. I have adopted a teen-age daughter.

depending on my schedule, I can give you ideas for mt biking, hiking and kayaking around here. Also welcome just people passing through. I will not take men alone, but will take women, families , or couples.
