About Me

I'm currently teaching Physics in first year at the UBA (University of Buenos Aires) and also I'm doing my PHD with a scolarship from the CONICET (National Scientific and Technical Research Council) developing new biosensors sistems in order to cure chronic diseases, like some type of cancer. It looks more difficult than it seems, hahaha.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually, at high school I made a exhange trip to Italy with my classmates. In both cities where I stayed, Rome and Ferrara, I was hosted by Italian families who were really warm and welcoming. That was my first couchsurfing experience and it really change my way of seeing the world. Nowadays, wherever I travel, I try to stay at a citizen's house (not only because it is cheaper) but also on account of get to know better the lifestyle of townsfolks. For me, the best mode to really get to know a new country is couchsurfing, you can learn so much about custom and normals habits.

Interests

I take yoga classes twice a week and I never miss any classes. It's really helpful and relaxing, after every class I can really feel at ease, in a really peaceful mood.
Apart from that, I also take sculpture classes since 2010. Funny fact, when I was a kid, I used to be a complete disaster in art classes. I used to hate so much using my hands to create anything. But now I must say it's a very good hobby that I like to do in my free time.
In addition, I have been taking piano lessons for 12 years by now. My favorites composers are Chopin, Satie & Schubert. Besides, I own a classic piano at my home in Buenos Aires.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm keen on a various kind of music. From national Argentinian rock to classical music. I listen the Beatles mostly everyday; I'm so obssesed with Twist And Shout that I play it as my alarm ringtone every morning.
In case you have some knowledge about Argentinian music, I really like Andres Calamaro, Lisandro Aristimuno, Charly Garcia, Spinetta and some others musicians.
Now, movies. Probably we'll get on well if you believe that Inglourious Basterds is the best film that Tarantino have ever create (though Pulp Fiction was AMAZING).
Finally, books. I mostly read Latinoamerican literature. Cortazar, Borges, Vargas Llosa, but also international writers that I'm fonf of are Stephen Hawking, Isaac Asimov and Deepak Chopra

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every year I go on holidays to La Patagonia, located in the south part of Argentina. With just a tent, a guitar a my group of friends we spend the most hilarious time together. Going on camp is my favorite activity to do on vacation and I wait the whole year to spend those 2 weeks completely disconnected of the real world. I try to enjo and live the natural invironmente as much as I can. Hiking all day long, taking naps next to the river, eating fruits from the trees and more. I just can't wait to do it again in 2017!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Apart from Physics I can tell you about how amazing is to be part of Latinoamerica, owing to I have travel around many countries from this part of the world. I am reliable, friendly and being really honest, I make the best lemmon pie in the whole universe! We can have some slice while we talk about life and future, what would you say?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have some knowledge in arts, so whenever you want to have an opinion about a painting or a portrait you want to hang out from your wall, I'm here for you. Also I might cook for you in some ocassions -only if I'm not burn out from hiking the entire day, hahaha-
