ABOUT ME

*Important: sometimes I receive messages late, don't give up if I don't answer suddenly*

I'm just a normal girl but I like to meet people, especially very different from me. After my studies in architecture and some years of work I realized I love teaching: I've been a supporting teacher until last year and now I'm trying a new experience being a technical education teacher for adults (mostly immigrants and prisoners).
I love nature and animals, and if I can choose I eat vegetarian. I'm not exactly the perfect italian cook, but I can propose you some traditional dishes and some innocuos breakfast :)
Usually I don't speak too much, I prefer to listen, but I love to laugh and to play (almost) any kind of games.

PHILOSOPHY

I think everyone can do something to make the world change, the important thing is that everybody try to do it. There is something good in everything (I know it's sounds a little bit naive, but that's it :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's an amazing way to travel and meet people.

Interests

There are many things that I would improve or learn but not enough time (and memory!). I like hiking, reading, walking around Europe, visiting countries with a low budget. Anyway, in this case I'm a real omnivorous: I like to try different things and not to focus just on something.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love books. I like to read every kind of novels, from the "Bigs" to teenagers series. I'm in love with Asimov, Daniel Pennac, Stefano Benni and Jane Austen. Recently, I'm really appreciating Madeline Miller.

I like Wes Anderson, Bruno Bozzetto, french movies... Some of my favourite movies are Billy Elliot, Full Monty and Alabama Monroe.

Also if I don't dedicate much time to it and rhythm doesn't exist in me :) I like listening to music and dancing (if I'm alone or in a special mood). From classical music to electronic: each kind could give me wonderful emotions. For your ears health it's better if you don't hear me singing.. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I have to say something I lived 10 months in Madagascar.. The incredible part is that I never get definitely lost during my alone travels, even there (knowing me and my horrible sens of direction, for my family it's a miracle each time that I come back home).

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn everything, and I try to share what I know with others people. I've learned a bit about beekeeping and self-construction. I can saw personal notebooks (thank to a spanish friend).

What I Can Share with Hosts

My italianity (but I'm quiet different from stereotypes) :), my food (don't worry, I will not poison you), time and help with the housekeeping.
