I love the camaraderie of the people that I meet in the couch surfing world.

I have said it is "the best of what I believe the world to be." The people, the community, the visits, the stories, the sharing, the meeting someone new and calling them friend.

I am a big fan of Positive Music, I am an acoustic singer/ songwriter. I enjoy all kinds of music, classical, jazz, rock and roll country, even Rap.

Reading fills my spirit. Mostly I read philosophy, theosophy, psychology books, but every once in a while I have to get into a good novel. One of my all time favorite books is Richard Bach's "Illusions"

Favorite movie is "Awakenings" - an early Robert Dinero - Robin Williams classic.

I survived the falling of the World Trade Center, running from the towers on that fateful day of 9/11 - volunteered for days afterward. Only to discover cancer in my throat 6 months later.

It is what has propelled me to the work I am now doing. When one is faced with the possibility of losing the gifts you have been giving, it truly makes you take a good look at your life, and what you are doing to make the world a better place.

One of the things that I am experiencing around this tour is the gift of LOVE - meeting wonderful generous people who are willing to share their lives.
